Sounds great. I have to work today but hopefully I will get off on time and at least get to watch some of the game. I probably won't get home till around 8 though. We mysteriously had a lot of people call in sick tomorrow though. My partner who is a football fanatic took the day off for a vacation day got rescinded and now has to work. I am sure she is going to be pleasant to be around all day. Anyway, do me proud with the Jambalaya! And I guess with the pork to as I grew up in Central Illinois about 100 miles west of Indy.

@Steve
Congrats on the Saints victory!  I imagine you'll see this post in a couple of days when you come-to.  My Super Bowl Party attendees were spilt 50/50 between the two teams but I was pulling for the Saints all the way!

The pork sandwiches disappeared quickly, the jambalaya and 7 layer dip were very popular.   My 'curried' deviled eggs went as did a guest's 'pickle relish' deviled eggs.  The pizza was devoured and a guest brought german potato salad that was also well received.

The biggest hit, by far, was desert, which was inspired by a dish I saw on Food Network's Worst Cook in America.   The Molten Lava Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, all made from scratch.  Served at half-time, I was afraid it would be too 'yesterday' a dish from the eighties but it tasted so good it overcame those hurdles!

Most guests had to be rolled out on a furniture dolly or in a wheelbarrow.   As well as enjoying good food we all got to enjoy a great game!  Close until the end, it was entertaining beyond recent memories of SB games.

Hope you all had a good time.  :)

That was a good game huh? I got to watch the last quarter. The citizens didn't seem to care that I wanted to watch it so I got off work late. I came home to a big pot of Jambalaya as well. You should of heard all the rednecks around here. Every time there was a big play and when they won it sounded like a war zone with all the fireworks going off. Sounded like the 4th of July or New Years Eve.
